Its been a couple of weeks or so since we downed Deathwing on 10. Here is our kill shot. Gratz to all. Tuesday is the final day to send me in game mail (or email) with addresses or po boxes to get some home made cookies. Now I’m not really big on talking money or anything of the sorts, but plenty of people approached me asking if there was a way if they could help out with the effort of getting them all shipped out.

Deana/Ttrinity, Xandrion/Steve, Saphenous/Robi, Redeemir/David, Veeroka/Ryan and Awbrey/Brian met up at Quakecon 2011 in Dallas this year. An epic time was had by all, gaming, ‘gearing’ up, drinking and eating. Good to meet all in person and spend some time together. Hope to see you next year. Team Mtn. Dew looking at the first boss Firelands. Yeah, a fucking spider. Bah! You will DIE! Looks like we will need to work on valor again, reputation through trash runs and dailys in Hyjal. Onward.
Each of the trash mobs in the Firelands raid has to be handled differently. As we learn more about these pulls, I will post more info here, so we can all be prepared!
“Surger” require Range 10
“Molten Lord” This mob has 3 abilities of note: a stomp that punishes melee, lava jets that knock back ranged, and an armor debuff/DoT that requires tanks to switch off. Tanks switch off to drop debuff, and TRY to interupt, for some classes, the lava jets show as interuptable, and for others it doesnt.
Scorpions explode on death, and should be killed one at a time, to prevent wiping.
Dogs leave bleeds, which stack. (unconfirmed.)
Turtles Whirlwind, and should be kited.
B4W is going to try to do a BWD 25m on thursday 6/2/11. If we are unable to get a sufficient quantity of raid ready guildies together, we will revert to our standard 10 mans. Please do not P.U.G. this raid early if you would like to participate. We are excited, and hope to see you there!
Aye, the newly combined efforts from part of Team Sheen and Team Mtn. Dew finished out Bastion of Twilight on Monday. The new third learning team, now APTLY named “Caught With Our Flasks Down” Killed the two headed monstrosity. Here is a picture of our teabagging efforts and a group shot. Gratz. Team CWOFD will move on to Nefarian. Yum….uh… I think. /wicked grin.
